Installation Procedure
Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cover Gasket (2) - Install
- Drive Motor Control Module 2 (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten in sequence [16x] - Fastener Specifications
Using a magnetic socket, install and tighten the 3 drive motor power inverter module connector terminal bolts (1). Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
Drive motor power inverter module cover seal is not serviceable separately.
Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cover (2) - Install
- Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cover Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Rear Electric Drive Transmission Module Coolant Hose (2) - Install
- Retainer (1) - Engage
- NOTE:
Transmission fluid cooler pipe seals are not serviceable separately.
Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (1) - Install NEW
Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Rear Drive Motor Mount (1) - Install
Rear Drive Motor Mount Bolt - M12 x 60.90 (1) - Install NEW and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Rear Drive Motor Mount Bolt - M14 x 125.43 (1) - Install NEW and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Remove the support from under the rear drive unit.
Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
- Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
High Voltage Connector (2) - Connect - High Voltage Connectors
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Retainer (2) - Connect
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Perform all steps in the high voltage enabling procedure before continuing. High Voltage Enabling
- Install underbody panels as necessary. Underbody Panel Component Locator
- Run all necessary programming and setup procedures. Control Module References
