Steering System - Power Rack & Pinion: Description
850, C70, S70 and V70 models are equipped with a TRW (Cam Gear) steering gear is of the rack and pinion type, and is grease-lubricated. See Fig 1. 960, S90 and V90 are also equipped with a TRW (Cam Gear). TRW/Cam Gear cylinder pipes are of steel and steering gear housing of pressed aluminum. The Saginaw TC Power Steering Pump is use on all models.
