eMotor Oil Drain And Fill Plugs Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove underbody front air shield. Refer to UNDERBODY FRONT AIR SHIELD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Drain and dispose of transmission fluid. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID REPLACEMENT AND DRAIN/FILL PLUG REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

3. Remove 3 bolts (1).

   Torque: 55 Nm 

4. Collect and replace any further oil that has leaked out.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification!

2. The Sealing ring (1) always has to be replaced! The old sealing ring cannot be reused.
3. Fill in transmission fluid. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID REPLACEMENT AND DRAIN/FILL PLUG REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
4. Install underbody front air shield. Refer to UNDERBODY FRONT AIR SHIELD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
