Crankshaft Position Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER  See step  3
  3. REMOVE FAN SHROUD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  4. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
  5. SEPARATE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the bolt, then separate the suction hose sub-assembly.
    2. Disconnect the cooler compressor assembly connector.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts, then separate the cooler compressor assembly from the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly.
  6. REMOVE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

    1. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
    2. Remove the bolt, then remove the crankshaft position sensor.
