Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the I20 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      TERMINAL DESCRIPTION

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      I20-1 (B) - I20-20 (GND) L-W-B Battery Always 11 to 14 V
      I20-20 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      I20-11 (ACC) - I20-20 (GND) GR - W-B ACC power supply Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the I20 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      I5-4 (VV-) - I20-20 (GND)* Y - W-B Ground Always Below 1 V
      I5-5 (VA-) - I20-20 (GND) W-W-B Shielded ground Always Below 1 V
      I5-6 (ADPG) - I20-20 (GND) SB - W-B External device connection detection signal External device is connection Below 1 V
      I6-1 (PKB) - I20-20 (GND)* R - W-B Parking brake signal See "Vehicle Signal Check" Mode (See SYSTEM NORMAL CONDITION CHECK  ) -
      I6-3 (SPD) - I20-20 (GND) W - W-B Speed signal from combination meter See "Vehicle Signal Check" mode (See SYSTEM NORMAL CONDITION CHECK  ) -
      I6-5 (REV) - I20-20 (GND) G - W-B Reverse signal See "Vehicle Signal Check" mode (See SYSTEM NORMAL CONDITION CHECK  ) -
      I7-12 (TSW-) - I20-20 (GND) W-B - W-B Telephone related switch ground Always Below 1 V
      I7-17 (MACC) - I20-20 (GND) LG - W-B Microphone amplifier power supply Ignition switch ACC 4 to 6 V
      I7-18 (SGND) - I20-20 (GND) W-B - W-B Telephone related switch ground Always Below 1 V
      I7-19 (MIC+) - I20-20 (GND) BR - W-B Microphone voice signal See "Microphone & Voice Recognition Check" (See NAVIGATION CHECK MODE  ) -

      I8-6 (MUTE) - I20-20 (GND)* O- W-B Mute signal RSE system is playing → changing mode 3.5 V or higher → Below 1 V
      I8-9 (TXM+) - I20-20 (GND)* G - W-B AVC-LAN communication signal Ignition switch ACC 2 to 3 V
      I8-10 (TXM-) - I20-20 (GND)* R - W-B AVC-LAN communication signal Ignition switch ACC 2 to 3 V
      I20-2 (ILL+) - I20-20 (GND) SB - W-B Illumination signal Light control switch OFF Below 1 V
      Light control switch TAIL or HEAD 11 to 14 V
      I20-5 (ATX+) - I20-20 (GND) V - W-B AVC-LAN communication signal Ignition switch ACC 2 to 3 V
      I20-7 (MUTE) - I20-20 (GND) GR - W-B Mute signal Audio system playing → changing modes 3.5 or higher → Below 1 V
      I20-8 (R+) - I20-20 (GND) W - W-B Sound signal (right) Audio system is playing Waveform synchronized with sound is output
      I20-9 (L+) - I20-20 (GND) G - W-B Sound signal (left) Audio system is playing Waveform synchronized with sound is output

      I3-16 (ASGN) - I20-20 (GND) W - W-B Ground Always Below 1 V
      I3-17 (ALI) - I20-20 (GND) B - W-B Sound signal (Left) External device is playing (When stereo jack is used) A waveform synchronized with sounds is output
      I3-18 (AUXG) - I20-20 (GND) Shielded - W-B Shield ground Always Below 1 V
      I3-19 (AUXI) - I20-20 (GND) SB - W-B External device connection detection signal External device is connected Below 1 V
      HINT:
      *: w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System If the result is not as specified, the receiver may have a malfunction.
    5. Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.
