Charging System (2AR-FE): Generator: Removal

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
1. Remove the belt (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION ).
REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
1. Detach the wire harness clamp from the clamp bracket.
2. Remove the bolt and clamp bracket.

REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the generator connector.
2. Remove the terminal cap.
3. Remove the nut and disconnect the generator wire.
4. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

5. Remove the 2 bolts and generator.
