Inspection Procedure

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY) 
   1. Disconnect the R10 connector from the radio and navigation assembly.
   2. Disconnect the T10 connector from the television camera assembly.

   3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION

      CB+ (T10-4) - CA+ (R10-24)	Always	Below 1 Ω
      CGND (T10-3) - CGND (R10-21)	Always	Below 1 Ω
      CV+ (T10-2) - V+ (R10-22)	Always	Below 1 Ω
      CV- (T10-1) - V-(R10-23)	Always	Below 1 Ω
      CV- (T10-1) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
      CV+ (T10-2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
      CGND (T10-3) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
      CB+ (T10-4) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

   OK: Go to Next Step 

2. INSPECT RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY 
   1. Reconnect the radio and navigation assembly connector.

   2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION
      
      

      Tester Connection (Terminal No.)	Condition	Specified Condition
      CB+ (T10-4) - CGND (T10-3)	IG SW ON, shift lever R position	Approx. 6 V

   NG: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY 

   OK: Go to Next Step 

3. INSPECT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 
   1. Reconnect the radio and navigation assembly R10 connector and the television camera assembly T10 connector.

   2. Check the waveform of the television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.
      1. Measurement terminal: CV+ - CV-

         Measurement setting: 0.2 V/DIV, 0.2 μ/DIV

         Condition: Ignition switch ON, Shift lever in R range

         OK: Pulses as shown in the illustration.

   NG: REPLACE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 

   OK: REPLACE RADIO AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY
