Terminals Of Ecu

  1. MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH

    1. Disconnect the P5 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance of each terminal according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      Symbols (Terminal No.) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      GND (P5-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Constant Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage 

      STANDARD VOLTAGE REFERENCE

      BDR (P5-10) - GND (P5-2) V - GR +B power supply Constant 10 to 14 V
      CPUB (P5-9) - GND (P5-2) L - W-B +B power supply Constant 10 to 14 V
      SIG (P5-20) - GND (P5-2) Y - W-B Ignition power supply Ignition switch OFF --> ON 0 V --> 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P5 switch connector and reset the power window motor.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    DN (P5-11) - GND (P5-2) GR - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Ignition switch ON, Driver side power window fully closed --> Driver side power window switch DOWN (AUTO operation) --> Driver side power window fully open 0 V --> 10 to 14 V
    PWS (P5-6) - GND (P5-2) B - W-B Power window lock switch output Ignition switch ON, Power window lock switch UNLOCK --> LOCK 10 to 14 V --> 0 V
  2. MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE)

    1. Disconnect the P10 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      E (P10-1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Constant Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage 

      STANDARD VOLTAGE REFERENCE

      +B (P10-7) - E (P10-6) BR - W-B +B power supply Constant 10 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the P10 switch connector and reset power window motor.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard voltage

    PCT (P10-8) - E (P10-1) B - W-B Power window lock switch output Ignition switch ON, Power window lock switch UNLOCK -->LOCK 10 to 14 V --> 0 V

    If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network switch may have a malfunction.

  3. MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH (REAR LH)

    1. Disconnect the P11 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE

    3. Reconnect the P11 switch connector and reset the power window motor.

    If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network switch may have a malfunction.

  4. MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH (REAR RH)

    1. Disconnect the P12 switch connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE

    3. Reconnect the P12 switch connector and reset the power window motor.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network switch may have a malfunction.

  5. INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B

    1. Disconnect the B9, B10, B11 and B12 connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE

      GND2 (B9-2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      KSW (B10-2) - Body ground G - Body ground Key unlock warning switch input No key in ignition key cylinder --> Key inserted 10 KΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω
      DTCY (B11-11) - Body ground B - Body ground Driver side courtesy switch input Driver side door CLOSED --> OPEN 10 KΩ or higher --> Below 1 Ω

      Standard voltage

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the B9, B10, B11 and B12 connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the J/B (body ECU) may have a malfunction.
