Air bag modules and seat belt pretensioners contain harmful substances. Illness or injury is possible if improperly handled. Wear gloves and safety glasses when handling these components.
NOTE:
Disposing of undeployed air bag module or seat belt pretensioner may violate federal, state and/or local laws. If scrapping vehicle, undeployed components must be deployed while installed in vehicle. See ON-VEHICLE DEPLOYMENT (SCRAPPED VEHICLES ONLY) .
If not scrapping vehicle, use OFF-VEHICLE DEPLOYMENT .
If not scrapping vehicle, use OFF-VEHICLE DEPLOYMENT .
