Vehicle Speed Sensor Test
- Vehicle speed sensor is located on rear of instrument cluster. Connect ohmmeter between terminals "A" and "B". Terminals are located near vehicle speed sensor. See Fig 1.
- Rotate speedometer cable shaft and note reading. Ohmmeter should change from continuity to no continuity 4 times per speedometer cable shaft revolution. Replace speedometer if reading does not change as specified.
