Cruise Control Switch

  1. Locate cruise control switch connectors behind steering wheel. See Figure- Figure and Figure . Ensure continuity exists between connector "A" terminal No. 3 and connector "B" terminal No. 1, and between connector "A" terminal No. 4 and connector "B" terminal No. 2. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, replace cruise control switch and retest system.
  2. Measure resistance between cruise control switch connector "A" terminals No. 2 and No. 4. See CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH TESTING  table. If resistance at each switch position is not as specified, replace cruise control switch.

OFF No Continuity
RES/ACC Approximately 68 Ohms
SET/COAST Approximately 198 Ohms
CANCEL Approximately 418 Ohms
