Diagnostic Aids
- If cruise control operates intermittently, see DTC P1584, CRUISE DISENGAGE . To verify system operation, use scan tool to operate cruise control cable from idle to 50 percent throttle angle.
- If correct voltage level is not input from ON/OFF switch in circuit No. 1884 (Gray wire), cruise control system will not be enabled.
- On A/T models, PCM requires a brake switch transition to occur or cruise will not be enabled. A rolling restart with no brake transition may result in an inoperative cruise control system.
