Temperature Control Cable

  1. Ensure A/C-heater control panel is installed. At heater case, ensure temperature control cable end is connected to door lever and cable housing is engaged in hold-down clip. Remove radio. At A/C-heater control panel, ensure temperature control cable housing is released from hold-down clip, and cable end is connected to pin on controller lever.
  2. Move temperature control lever to full cold position. At heater case, ensure temperature door lever is in full rearward position. At A/C-heater control panel, engage cable housing into hold-down clip. Check cable operation for binding or backlash.
