Intermediate Shaft Bellows: Installation

  1. Lubricate Bellows Installer Cone (89 95 813) with petroleum jelly. Position cone on "U" joint. Ease new bellows over cone and "U" joint. Install grommet.
  2. Connect steering shaft to intermediate shaft. Ensure "U" joint clamp bolt fits in shaft groove. Tighten clamp bolt.
  3. Attach steering column to dash. Check and adjust steering wheel position as necessary. Fit bellows to floorboard. Replace cover under dash.
