System Operation Check

Turn ignition on, AIR BAG warning light should illuminate for about 3 seconds then turn off. If AIR BAG warning light fails to illuminate, remains illuminated after 2-5 seconds, or illuminates after being off for 3 seconds, fault in air bag system exists. Go to DIAGNOSTICS .
