DME control unit can store trouble codes related to fuel injection and ignition systems. Detected codes remain stored for at least 50 engine starts. If battery cable or DME control unit connector is disconnected, trouble code memory and system adaptation will be cleared. For additional information, see TESTS W/CODES article.
