Water Pump: Notes

Water pump is mounted on front of cylinder block and is driven by the backside of the camshaft toothed drive belt. The water pump drive pulley serves as an idler for the drive belt.

Whenever water pump is removed, replace all "O" rings and seals. Coat pump drive shaft sealing ring lightly with oil. Coat pump housing seals with Loctite 638.
