Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the ignition coil studs (4), if necessary.

    Tighten:  Tighten the studs to 25 N.m (15 lb ft).

  2. Install the ignition coil (3).
  3. Install the ignition coil nuts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (15 lb ft).

  4. Install the ignition coil bolts (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (15 lb ft).

  6. Connect the right side spark plug wires to the ignition coil.

  8. Connect the left side spark plug wires to the ignition coil.

  10. Connect the ignition coil electrical connector (2).
  11. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector (1).
  12. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
