Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the hub and bearing assembly (5). Refer to Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (RWD) or Front Wheel Hub, Bearing, and Seal Replacement (4WD) .

  4. Remove the splash shield (6), for 15 series.
