Seat Back: Removal

  1. Remove front seat. See POWER SEAT  .
  2. Remove outer trim panel from front seat cushion. See SEAT CUSHION OUTER TRIM PANEL  .
  3. Remove inner trim panel from front seat cushion. See Figure .
  4. Remove cable ends from seat back recliner hinge. See Figure .
  5. Disconnect harness connector harness for side air bag from front seat frame. See Figure .
  6. Disconnect harness connector for side air bag from front seat frame.
  7. Disconnect heated seat harness connector.
  8. Remove left front bolts from seat back recliner hinge. See Figure .
  9. Remove right front bolts from seat back recliner hinge.
  10. Remove back from seat cushion frame. Set back face down on front seat cushion.
  11. Remove heated seat wiring harness and side air bag wire harness. Remove wiring harnesses through front seat cushion and frame area.
  12. Remove seat back from seat cushion.
