Trouble Shooting

Perform the following before going to SYSTEM TESTING  :

• Check operation of power door locks. If power door locks are inoperable, check power seat circuit breaker.
• Check ground by noting operation of left tail/stop/turn signal lights.
• Check motor linkage for poor connection or binding.
• If power accessory circuit breaker opens whenever power seat switch is operated, check circuits for a short to ground.
• Check for broken or partially broken wire inside of insulation, which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with system disconnected. These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded. Check by monitoring for voltage drop with system under load.
• Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment.
