Power Steering Gear Box
The power steering gear box displaces fluid to provide hydraulic pressure assist while turning. A torsion bar helps transmits road feel to the driver.
A one-piece rack piston nut is geared to the cross shaft. An adjusting screw on the shaft maintains backlash between the shaft and the rack piston.
