Water Pump Removal/Installation: Notes

Remove the air cleaner.
Remove the timing belt. See TIMING BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
Remove the exhaust manifold insulator. See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [BP] or EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [BP WITH TC] .
Set the A/C compressor out of the way.
Remove in the order indicated in the figures.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
