Front-End Discriminating Sensor: Installation

  1. Align sensor to vehicle, ensuring arrow on sensor body is pointing toward front of vehicle. Install fasteners and tighten to 9 ft. lbs. (12 N.m). Reconnect sensor connector and reinstall CPA clip.
  2. Activate air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Check system for proper operation. See TESTING - SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  .
