Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM in SIR.
  2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflator Module Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the steering wheel controls using a small flat-blade tool.
  4. Pry out the steering wheel controls at the lower edge of the switches.
