Front End Discriminating Sensor: Removal

1. Before proceeding, read air bag service precautions section. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM  .
2. Forward discriminating sensor is located next to hood latch bracket. Remove CPA clip and disconnect electrical connector. Remove fasteners from upper radiator tie bar to grill as necessary. Remove sensor mounting fasteners. Remove sensor. See Fig 1 .
