Power Window Motor: Removal

Raise the window to the full up position and secure the glass to the door frame using cloth backed tape.

1. Remove door trim panel. See TRIM PANEL  .
2. Remove armrest bracket. See ARMREST  .
3. Remove water deflector. See WATER DEFLECTOR  .
4. Remove negative (-) battery cable.
5. Remove wire harness from motor.
6. Remove regulator lift arm roller from the window mount sash.
7. Drill hole through the regulator sector gear and backplate, install bolt and nut to lock sector gear in position. Drill out the motor mounting rivets. Remove motor from window regulator.
