Oil Temperature Sensor

Disconnect solenoid and sensor harness connector. Using ohmmeter, measure resistance between sensor connector terminals No. 1 and 2. See Figure . Resistance should be 10 k/ohms with oil temperature at 77°F (25°C), and 615 ohms with oil temperature at 248°F (120°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace oil temperature sensor.
