Accelerator Cable

  1. To adjust accelerator cable "A", ensure accelerator cables are free of bends and folds. Remove actuator cover. Loosen lock nuts of accelerator cables "A" and "B". SeeFig 1 and Fig 2 . While keeping lever "P" and stopper in contact with each other, turn adjusting nut until lever "P" begins to move.
  2. Back off adjusting nut 1/2 turn and tighten lock nut. To adjust accelerator cable "B", adjust nuts on carburetor. Ensure clearance between levers "C" and "P" is 0-.08" (0-2 mm), after adjustment. SeeFig 2 .
