Diagnosis Connector

Input check and ECU codes can be read by connecting a voltmeter to connector located in glove box. SeeFig 1 .

NOTE: Early production 1987 vehicles may contain 1986 speed control systems. To determine which system vehicle is equipped with, refer to nameplate color on ECU. Later model 1987 vehicles contain an ECU with a Green nameplate. Early model vehicles contain an ECU with a Blue nameplate. The information in this article covers later model units with a Green nameplate.
