Accelerator Pedal and Bracket : Removal

All vehicles 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal sensor electrical connector.
NOTE: This electrical connector is present on all vehicles including fixed pedal and bracket assemblies. The electrical connector on the fixed pedal assemblies are non-working and plugged into an empty receptacle connector.
3. Disconnect the accelerator pedal motor electrical connector.

Vehicles with adjustable accelerator pedal and bracket 

4. Disconnect the accelerator pedal motor drive cable connector.

All vehicles 

5. Remove the 3 accelerator pedal and bracket retainer nuts.
6. Remove the accelerator pedal and bracket assembly.
