COMPLAINT

Keyless-Go control unit fault codes

Engine may not start

Vehicle may not recognize key

CAUSE

Water traces (drips) on Keyless-Go control unit.

REMEDY

Dismantle right rear interior trim in the trunk area (see photo attached). Check if there are any traces of water on the Keyless-Go control unit. If yes, please create a PTSS case before repairs are performed.

IMPORTANT: Do not dismantle any more components.

Please provide the following information in the case:

Run water test and document with videos of inside and outside of trunk (passenger side).
Pictures of wiring harness for Keyless-Go control unit.

Repair instructions will follow via PTSS case.

If no traces of water are found, please proceed with diagnostics of the KG system.
