	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100°C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Remove headliner	On vehicles without code (414a) Power glass tilting/sliding roof or without code (413) Panoramic sliding roof or without code (413) Panoramic sliding roof and code (419) Solar module for panoramic roof	AR68.30-P-4300T
		on vehicles with code (414a) electric glass titling/sliding roof	AR68.30-P-4300TA

2	Disconnect connector from left front windowbag squib (R12/16) or right front windowbag squib (R12/17)	Installation:  connector must be heard to engage when being plugged in.
3	Unscrew nuts (2)		*BA91.60-P-1005-01A
4	Unclip bracket (5) with windowbag unit (1) from roof frame	Installation:  Replace clips (4). Clips (4) must audibly engage.	Figure
5	Remove windowbag unit (1) with bracket (5)	If windowbag unit (1) is being replaced, the defective windowbag unit (1) must be properly disposed of: ↓

6.1	Fasten new support (3) on bracket (5) centrally to B-pillar	Only when replacing the windowbag unit (1).
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Check restraint system using STAR DIAGNOSIS
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system
