Test 32: Signal From Roll Bar/Soft Top Control Module To Left Rear Window Motor

NOTE: This procedure applies to CLK320 convertible models only.

Connect Hand-Held Tester (HHT) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located in engine bay. Monitor roll bar/soft top control module readings. Turn ignition on. Press left rear window switch to down position; DOWN should be indicated on HHT. Release switch; "0" should be indicated on HHT. Press left rear window switch to up position; UP should be indicated on HHT. If reading is not as described, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, check lower control panel control module. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS .
