Parking Sensor System Does Not Operate (Parking Sensor System): Notes

PARKING SENSOR SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE DESCRIPTION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Item	PARKING SENSOR SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE
Description	Even if the parking sensor switch is turned on, the parking sensor buzzer is not activated.
Possible Causes	Control is inhibited because the trailer switch (option) is installed on the vehicle and the trailer switch (option) is turned on. Short circuit to ground in the circuit between parking assist unit terminal R and the trailer switch (option) Cluster switch connector or terminal malfunction Parking assist unit connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in wiring harness between the following terminals: Cluster switch terminal A-Parking assist unit terminal V Cluster switch malfunction Parking sensor switch malfunction Parking assist unit malfunction
