Back-Up Light Switch Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the battery and battery tray. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] .)
- Remove the under cover.
- Drain the oil from the transaxle.
- Remove the back-up light switch. (See BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G35M-R] .) (See BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R] .)
- Verify that the continuity between the back-up light switch terminals is as indicated in the table in illustration.
- If not as indicated in the table in illustration, replace the back-up light switch.
