Trunk Lid Latch Switch Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the trunk lid trim. (See TRUNK LID TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the trunk lid latch and lock actuator. (See TRUNK LID LATCH AND RELEASE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Press the latch in using a Flathead screwdriver to inspect the latch lever condition.

Verify that the continuity is as indicated in the table.
- If not as indicated in the table, replace the trunk lid latch and release actuator
