Combination Switch Removal/Installation: Notes

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3] ).
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the following parts:
    1. Driver-side air bag module (See DRIVER-SIDE AIR BAG MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    2. Steering wheel (See STEERING WHEEL AND COLUMN REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    3. Meter hood (See METER HOOD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    4. Column cover (See COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
    5. Clock spring (See CLOCK SPRING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.

  5. Disconnect the steering angle sensor connector.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
