Main Control Cover & Gasket: Installation

Position the main control cover gasket on the case.

Position the main control cover on the case and loosely install the bolts.

Tighten the bolts in sequence as indicated.

Install the LH splash shield.

Install the LH front wheel.
Lower the vehicle.
Install the vent tube hose.

Install the intake tube and the air cleaner cover.

Install the breather tube and connect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

Install the battery tray bracket.

Connect the wiring harness to the battery tray bracket.

Install the battery tray. .
Connect the battery cables.
Check the transaxle fluid, add fluid as necessary using MERCON(R) Automatic Transaxle Fluid (ATF).
Start the engine and move the transaxle range selector lever through all gear positions. Refill as necessary.
