DESCRIPTION
The '95 Workshop Manual (page F1-59) incorrectly states that Diagnostic Trouble Code P1797 applies to "ATX vehicles only." This code is also used on MTX vehicles. If you find it in the Power Control Module (PCM) memory on an MTX vehicle, check the clutch switch circuit (Workshop Manual pages F1-53 and F2-53). Mazda will issue a service bulletin with a correction page in the near future.
