Warning Switch (In Passive Shoulder Belt Retractor)

  1. Disconnect warning switch connector. Check for continuity between terminals when lap belt is pulled out/released.
  2. With lap belt pulled (more than 31.50 inches) on the right hand side there should be continuity between terminals "a" and "b" and on the left hand side there should be continuity between terminals "c" and "d". See Fig 1 .
  3. With the lap belt released there should be no continuity.
