Vacuum Switch

Remove vacuum switch. Connect vacuum pump to vacuum switch. Check continuity between vacuum switch terminals. At atmospheric pressure, continuity should not exist. With 2.36 in. Hg. vacuum applied, continuity should exist. If readings are not as specified, replace vacuum switch.
