Audio System

The audio system consists of steering wheel controls, speakers, and one of the following audio units:

The speakers are powered by the audio unit. The steering wheel controls send information to the audio unit allowing the driver to adjust various audio controls. The audio unit is not repairable. If the audio unit requires repair, it must be sent to an authorized audio unit repair facility. The audio system is equipped with either an audio unit amplifier or a subwoofer amplifier. All audio systems are equipped with 4 speakers, and a subwoofer located behind the rear seats. Optional speakers include 2 tweeters mounted in the front doors. The audio unit has a partial mute for parking aid.

The radio frequency interference suppression bond ground straps are located in the engine compartment and on the RH side front frame rail and the radio ignition interference capacitors located on the engine. For additional information, refer to the owner's literature.
