Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module: Removal

    CAUTION: Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to the scan tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.
  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the hydraulic control unit bolts.

  3. Disconnect the anti-lock brake control module electrical connectors.

  4. Remove the anti-lock brake control module.
    1. Remove the bolts.
    2. Remove the control module.
