Description & Operation

The power memory seat/mirror system allows storing 3 seat/mirror positions into memory. Seat and outside mirrors will automatically move to preset position(s) by pressing button 1 or 2, or both buttons for position 3. The mirror and seat memory will not operate unless transmission is in Park or Neutral.

The optional automatic dimming rear view mirror is controlled by 2 light-sensitive photocells. Outside light level is measured by a sensor on backside of mirror housing. A second sensor, located on reflective side of mirror, detects approaching rear lights. The mirror photochromically dims when glare is detected from rear of vehicle. Mirror switches to normal state whenever transmission gear selector is placed in Reverse. The driver's side outside rear view mirror is also available with auto-dimming function.

Power side-view mirror system consists of mirror head with integral servo motor assembly. Memory mirror is controlled by Driver Door Module (DDM) and Driver Seat Module (DSM). Side mirror glass and motor can be replaced separately. Side mirrors are equipped with heating elements. The rear window defogger switch controls operation.
