Shift Lever: Inspection: Inspection

- INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH (w/o Smart Key System)
- Measure the resistance between each terminal of the transmission floor shift assembly when the shift lever is moved to each position.

Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 (IG) - 7 (S) S, "+" and "-" Below 1 Ω 3 (IG) - 7 (S) Except S, "+" and "-" 10 kΩ or higher 2 (SFTU) - 5 (E) Hold the lever in "+" (Upshift) Below 1 Ω 2 (SFTU) - 5 (E) S 10 kΩ or higher 1 (SFTD) - 5 (E) Hold the lever in "-" (Downshift) Below 1 Ω 1 (SFTD) - 5 (E) S 10 kΩ or higher If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the transmission floor shift assembly.
- Measure the resistance between each terminal of the transmission floor shift assembly when the shift lever is moved to each position.
- INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Smart Key System)
- Measure the resistance between each terminal of the transmission floor shift assembly when the shift lever is moved to each position.
