Power Switch: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL POWER SWITCH

    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the switch.
    2. Connect the switch connector.
  2. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 1
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 1 SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 12
  4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL NO. 1 UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 13
  5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 14
  6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 28
  7. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 30
  8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 21
  9. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL ASSEMBLY  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 23
  10. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH  . Refer toINSTALLATION - Step 24
  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  12. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization. Refer toINITIALIZATION .
      NOTE:

      Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

  13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light. Refer toDIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .
