INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for ACIS)

Measure the resistance of the VSV.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE REFERENCE

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
1 - 2	20°C (68°F)	33 to 39 Ω
1 - Body ground 2 - Body ground	-	1 MΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV assembly.

Check the VSV operation.
1. Check that air flows from port E to the filter.
  If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV assembly.
2. Apply battery voltage across the terminals.

3. Check that air flows from port E to F.
  If the result is not as specified, replace the VSV assembly.
