Rear Combination Light Assembly: Installation

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
   1. Install the gasket to the light.
   2. Install the light bulb to the light socket and wire.
   3. Install the light bulb socket and wire to the rear light.
   4. Install the light with the 3 nuts.
   5. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
   1. Install the gasket to the combination light.
   2. Install the light bulb to the light socket and wire.
   3. Install the light bulb socket and wire to the light.

   4. Install the rear combination light with the 3 nuts.

3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT  (See INSTALLATION )
6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE  (See INSTALLATION )
7. INSTALL TOOL BOX  (See INSTALLATION )
8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT  (See INSTALLATION )
9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
10. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION (2006/02-2006/07) ).
       NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
