Inspection Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (FRONT DOOR LOCK MOTOR)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a condition command, and then check that the door lock motor operates.

NG: Go to step 2
OK: REPLACE FRONT MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU LH
- INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor.
OK

NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
OK: Go to next step
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor.
- READ VALUE OF FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH)
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the door lock position switch.
Multiplex network master switch assembly
MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - DATA LISTItem Measurement Item/Display (Range) Normal Condition Diagnostic Note LOCK POS SW Door lock position switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Driver side door is unlocked
OFF: Driver side door is locked- OK:
ON (driver side door is unlocked) appears on screen.
NG: Go to step 4
OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH (DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH)
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Condition Specified Condition 7 - 8 Unlock Below 1 Ω 7 - 8 Lock 10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance of the switch.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DRIVER DOOR ECU - FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH)
- Disconnect the M10 ECU connector.
- Disconnect the M12 door lock connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition M10-1 (A-) - M12-1 (UL) Below 1 Ω M10-2 (A+) - M12-4 (L) Below 1 Ω M10-13 (LSWE) - M12-7 (E) Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY - MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH)
- Disconnect the M12 door lock connector.
- Disconnect the Q13 switch connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONTester Connection Specified Condition M12-8 (LSSR) - Q13-16 (LSW) Below 1 Ω
